Hardware relocation involves not only moving hardware. It is a combination of strict planning and good skills of the people who will move the hardware to prevent more downtime than really is needed. Aspects such as professional, disassembling, safe transportation, network movement, final inspection, everything has to be right. And most important, It needs to be done by a group of experienced people “with brains”. Serverius offers this moving service to its customers for free!
Moving through strict policy and planning
Each situation is different. Therefore we will make together with you (the customer) a clear definition of your current and new colocation infrastructure. If needed, we will make adjustment to your new colocation space (power, ip-space and so on). When this is done, a clear planning is made to move your hardware securely without any mistakes. This base will describe yourself along with our noc-engineers and on-site rack-and-stack personnel will do the actual moving of your hardware. Only this combination of people and strict planning ensures a smooth migration.
Moving is 24/7 possible, all year round, from each datacenter within the European Union. For example, its not a problem if you want to move on a Sunday night at 4 am. This is just the charm of our profession!
No moving costs
The cost of the move are simple, you only pay for the resources, not for noc-engineers and remote hand personnel, nor for the making planning. So no hourly rates of Serverius employees are charged, but only travel expenses (gasoline), hotel costs, dinner etc.
