Security & Access Control

Proper security is a combination of modern technology and good people. This combination is accomplished by the technical installations  Shield beveiliging (with reporting to the SMC security NOC with O2 – E2 – AL3 en R3 standards), preventive surveillance and alarm response by Fair Bewaking BV and of course the normal staffing of Serverius itself. This way the datacenter is a safe haven for all your hardware.

 

Proper security goes far beyond an alarm system and a fence around the building. Ultimately the people secure it. Monitoring and everything related to it is primarily a task of skilled professionals. Together with the people of Serverius Fair Security provides the daily security. Fair Security is a member of VPB (100,021) and has the Dutch “Certificate Security.” The great advantage of Fair security is that the company command post is just a few hundred meters from the datacenter. So in case of an emergency, Fair is onsite in a minute.

The control room SMC is obviously ‘BORG 2′-certified (in the security world essential). Your valuable hardware lives in our hands. With the Dutch BORG certificate shows SMC that they handle your hardware verrry carefully. The certificate guarantees not only our modern systems, but guarantees also the selecting of our staff and store safely all vital customer information within the systems. To enhance the quality of service provided to the SMC has ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

 

Access control

Through the access control system, only authorized persons (clients) can access 24/7 the Serverius datacenter. Through the managementsoftware only portions of the datacenter are accessible where it also applies to clients. Through the camerasystem and accesscard readers on every door every movement within the datacenter is automatically stored for future use (if necessary).
