N+1 Climate control

All server rooms are equipped with an air conditioning system that ensures that both the temperature and humidity remain constant. The temperature is kept around 24 degrees and humidity around 50%. These two values provide the best working conditions for electronic equipment. The ideal humidity is 50% higher than a calculated air of human comfort generally produces – it is above the low humidity that makes us during the summer in cold rooms feel comfortable. In a dry atmosphere to take the risk, however, increased from electrostatic discharges, which can be fatal for sensitive equipment, 50% humidity is ideal for servers.

The air conditioning is constructed in such a way that there are several units present in the server rooms which can work independently. Failure of one of the units will have direct adverse effects on the equipment in these rooms. >

There are also several  temperature and humidity sensors present in each room , both above and below the raised floor. In this way we are up in control and we can detect problems quickly and effectively resolve.

To efficiently use the cooling capacity, we use closed cold corridors, through which cool air is always sucked into the racks.

While other data centers where it is not as fussy when it comes to the placement of servers, we will be keen on this. In this way the cooling works more efficiency and saves costs and especially the environment.
